KEEPING YOUR SCHOOL SAFE

Lilac and Green How to Be Safe from Coro

What we are doing to ensure our workshops are COVID-SAFE.

The Play House creates work which meaningfully engages every child, and at this current time supports children to transition back into their school environment in a creative way. The safety of children, teachers and their families are important to us at all times.

Following advice from Public Health England and and the Department for Education The Play House has adapted our workshops to meet the latest government guidelines whilst maintaining the benefits of supporting children’s development through creative engagement that has been the hallmark of our success for 35 years.

You can be safe in the knowledge that all our workshops are as safe as we can possibly make them.

Below are some of the measures The Play House has put in place to keep children and all school staff safe as well as a link to our social distancing policy:

  • All of our workshops are risk assessed including COVID-19 mitigation measures and we have our own social distancing policy following current health guidance (see below).

  • All our workshops are flexible to ensure social distancing, accommodating to class social bubbles, and adhering to your school's own COVID-19 measures.

From October 2020 The Play House will be offering the option of recorded and LIVE online workshops for our Autumn programmes. This is to enable us to continue to support schools that are unable to accommodate external visitors during this current time because of COVID-19.
