The Next 40 Years
In the last 40 years The Play House [and its predecessor Language Alive] have reached more than a million children with our unique participatory style of theatre. The company has changed lives. The Play House is a charity which relies on support from kind donors and funding bodies in order to produce and deliver our programmes which support young people's learning.
Our key funders and the fees paid by schools have enabled us to survive to now. But fund-raising and applying for grants for individual projects is never easy, and we need your support to help with the next challenging years.
Our aim is to have a fund that we can dip to cover shortfalls, so that we can keep our invaluable service available for the next four decades and beyond.Any donation, large or small, one-off or regular, is a contribution to quality significant, educational theatre which outs the young people of our city first. Any donation is gratefully received.
