The Play House Fundraiser:
Meet our travelling storyteller!

The Play House needs you!

The Play House is a registered charity, and for over 30 years we have worked directly with young people across the West Midlands, using participatory theatre to support their learning through a creative curriculum. Annually we usually  reach 15,000 young people in socially economically challenging areas of the West Midlands- but we need your support to continue our work.

In order to survive, the Play House relies on schools booking our educational workshops, as well as the income of grants and charitable donations. It will come as no surprise that Covid-19 has seriously impacted our finances due to significantly reduced ability to place bookings, and uncertainty surrounding securing donations and grants.

EXCITING FUNDRAISING EVENT!

Malcolm, our very own travelling storyteller, will be getting on his story-bike and cycling the Number-11 bus  route here in Birmingham at the heart of where the Play House began. He'll be stopping off along the way at schools and venues to make some new friends - and making some magical stories with their help along the way!

We can't wait to engage children who might not usually access theatre, while taking The Play House back to its roots of storytelling in Balsall Heath.

PLEASE CONSIDER GIVING!
We hope that

THE PLAY HOUSE IS THANKFUL FOR ALL OF THE FUNDING PARTNERS THAT HAVE ENABLED US TO CONTINUE OUR 30+ YEAR HISTORY OF DELIVERING A WIDE RANGE OF EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMES TO SCHOOLS ACROSS THE MIDLANDS.
