NORI
Friendship, Communication and Language, EAL
Autumn Term
Nori is a bilingual workshop which uses puppetry, music and storytelling to explore what it means to be friends. The children help fisherwoman Pearl to overcome her fears, communicate with her new friend and find ways for them to share and live together.
Unfortunately Nori will no longer be touring in 2020.
Mathematics, Sharing, Growing Food, Communication and Language
Spring Term
This is an active learning experience for young children. The Little Red Hen workshop introduces children to counting, weighing and measuring, within the context of this traditional story.
Black History, Transition, Storytelling, Problem Solving
Summer Term
Climb Aboard is a participatory workshop for 3-6 year olds which explores transition, memory and family history. Through an exciting mix of creative play and storytelling the children help Jim to embrace the changes in his new life, whilst joining him on a journey back into his and his grandma' heritage.
