Storyteller to bring Anansi the Spider to life.

The Play House Theatre in Education company is looking to collaborate with a performer/storyteller of West African or Caribbean heritage to co-devise and solo tour a new participatory storytelling workshop for children aged 3-6 years old.

Based on traditional African folk tales featuring trickster and hero, Anansi the Spider, this new, one person workshop will use storytelling, puppetry and song to capture children’s imaginations, create a fictional context where all children can find themselves reflected and provide opportunities for meaningful participation.
