Farewell but not just yet!

After a number of years working at The Play House as a Teacher Actor, Artistic Lead and Artistic Director, Juliet Fry has decided to step down. Juliet has brought so much creativity, imagination and passion to The Play House which has seen her develop our early years storytelling residency and participation work.

Whilst everyone at The Play House is sad to see Juliet go we wish her all the best and we look forward to the new opportunties the next Artistic Director can bring to The Play House. Juliet will be with The Play House until July 2022 and we will be advertising for a new Artistic Director soon.

Juliet commented:

" I’ve been part of the team for nearly 30 years and in that time I’ve had the privilege of making and being part of many wonderful drama projects. I can honestly say that I’ve been inspired by the children and young people we have worked with. It’s always been an exciting place to work, despite all the challenges that exist in the world of Theatre In Education. Many artists, directors and cherished people have helped to shape The Play House and maintain its family feel. Although, I’m moving onto pastures new I’m genuinely thrilled about the opportunity this opens up for someone to join the company and lead the organisation on the next part of its journey. "
